TalkRadar 17

TalkRadar welcomes its very first industry guest this week, Mr. Seth Killian of Capcom fame. He’s involved with all things community, primarily at theCapcom Unity blogand jaw-droppingly hardcoreEvo tournaments. Far more interesting than that, however, are his tales of Street Fighter hustling at arcades, infiltrating E3 and harassing the company enough to finally give him a job. See kids, you too can live the dream.

So yeah, he’s got a lot to say, plus we talk dogs, the week’s releases (Viva Pinata, suckers!) and true tales of controller smashing. Yes, it actually happens.

Explicit Content Within! Persons with delicate ears should definitely not listen, as they will hear edgy no-no words freely spoken on South Park and HBO.

Top 7... canine companions- gaming’s best dogs. Yes, we’re serious.

Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise– raising papery animals is serious business

Spore– it came out this week. So anyway...

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe– after several harsh words for MK, Seth admits MKvDCU might be slightly okay-ish

Street Fighter IV– if you’re not excited about it yet, maybe you’re dead and need to call an ambulance to haul your dead ass to the graveyard

Art of the infinite combo– despite being fun to watch, they’re a pain in the ass and Seth’s not having any part of ‘em. Hear why...

10 LEGO games we’d love to see– Mikel spent two weeks making this, so read it four or five times

Destroying controllers in slow-motion– if we were made of plastic, this video would be impossible to watch. It’s somehow grotesque even when the subjects are inanimate casings.
