Telltale's The Wolf Among Us coming this summer
Episodic adaptation of DC Comics' Fables series
Telltale Games' take on the Fables DC Comics series begins this summer as The Wolf Among Us. Fairy tale characters such as the Three Little Pigs and Mr. Toad will look to main character Bigby Wolf (aka the Big Bad Wolf) to keep them undercover in New York, IGN reports, where magical characters in exile lead semi-normal lives in the mundane world.
“Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the Fables universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players,” Telltale CEO Dan Connors said. “Through an evolution of our approach to choice and consequence, we can further explore the complexity of each and every iconic character in a universe rich with untold history from the darkest sides of the storybooks.”
The PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 game has been in the works since 2011. Given Telltale's iOS lineup, which spans Sam & Max to The Walking Dead, we wouldn't be surprised to see it show up on the App Store at some point.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
