TGS 2011: BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend teaser is fast and colorful
Get a closer look at the follow up to Arc System Works’ Continuum Shift II
Fighting fans lost their collective minds over BlazBlue when it was released a few years back, and since the original, the team over at Arc System Works has been quick to release a steady stream of DLC, sequels, and upgrades. In true fighting game form they’ve added some insanity, as well as a few suffixes to make the title nice and silly. The next iteration, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, is an expansion of sorts to Continuum Shift II, and is slated to not only hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but the PlayStation Vita as well. Does it continue the series’ history of fast fighting and insane characters? You’ll need to watch the Tokyo Game Show trailer to find out (spoiler: it does).
Extendwill include all of the characters and features released thus far for Continuum Shift II, as well as a few new additions that are sure to make fans salivate. Relius Clover, the new character in Extend, is shown off in full during the trailer, and looks to be a fantastic addition to the already impressive roster. More scenarios and story will be piled on, too, expanding the lore and creating even more content to get excited about when the game releases this winter.
