TGS 2011: Kid Icarus: Uprising delayed, more game footage and free video content revealed
Nintendo brings the good with the bad for Kid Icarus' TGS showing
Nintendo had mixed news for Kid Icarus: Uprising hopefuls during its TGS 2011 press event. After dropping a new gameplay trailers for the 3DS title, Nintendo revealed the game's launch will be preceded by a series of 3D animations based on the franchise, which will be available for free via Nintendo's Video service. That was the good news. The bad? Nintendo confirmed that Pit's revival has been pushed back to 2012 across the globe, and not just in Europe aspreviously planned.
Nintendo did not offer a revised release date for Kid Icarus: Uprising or its promotional anime videos. However, the latter will be produced in association with Production I.G. (Ghost in the Shell), Studio 4C (Catherine) and Shaft (Negima).
