People are really interested in Microsoft's Blue Dragon. Is it because they want to see the first work of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi? Is it because they want to see just how bad MS can screw up in Japan? Is it because if you set up a line, Japanese people are compelled to stand in it? Who knows! But on the press day of the show, there was a longer than 90-minute wait to play it (same goes for Lost Odyssey, MS' other big RPG from the man everyone affectionately calls The Gooch.)
We didn't even bother looking at this line on the public day. We can't even imagine how long it got.
What we learned:
The 360 may have no chance to succeed in Japan, but it'll make for a fascinating failure.
