The Avengers' line Tom Hiddleston will never forget? It involves Loki, Hulk, and a smug Tony Stark
Tom Hiddleston – a.k.a Loki – has had his fair share of deliciously evil lines during his run as Thor’s trickster half-brother. His best line he’s read, according to Hiddleston himself, though, is an interaction with Tony Stark in the first Avengers movie that he’ll “never forget.”
While answering our 15 questions for Kong: Skull Island’s cast, Hiddleston was pressed about a line he’ll always remember. His answer involves a smarmy Tony Stark because, honestly, who doesn’t have their best material opposite a smug Robert Downey Jr.?
The line in question is, upon Loki’s very-imminent defeat, he tells Stark, “I have an army.” Iron Man responds, without skipping a beat in one of the movie’s coolest moments, “We have a Hulk.” Skip to 3:42 to hear Hiddleston’s response in full.
Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, and starring Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Toby Kebbell, Tom Wilkinson, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson and John C. Reilly, Kong: Skull Island opens in the UK on March 9 and US on March 10, 2017.
