The Biggest Goddamed Sci-Fi Movie Poll In The Galaxy

We need your votes to help us compile an upcoming SFX Special

The time has come to take part in SFX ’s biggest ever movie poll. That’s right, because SFX.co.uk now has more regular users than ever before (over a quarter of a million) we’re confident that this will by some way be the biggest poll ever undertaken to find the nation’s top SF, fantasy and horror movies.

So what do you have to do? Simple. We want you to vote for your top five films, in any order. Below we’ve suggested 100 movies that could well be contenders for your affections – if your top five are there, just tick them. If NONE of these films are your ultimate choices then use the text box at the bottom of the poll to list the ones you want to add. You could also vote for one off the list and four of your own, or two from the list and three of your own, and so on.

Apologies for this rather laborious way of doing things, but our polling software only allows for 100 different options (doh!), but rest assured we will be counting the “written” votes – we just entered 100 of what we thought may be the most popular (not reflecting our own opinions, of course) because that makes it easier for us to tot up the scores. But we will be taking our socks off to count the “written” votes on our fingers and toes.

If writing into the box at the bottom, please separate your film choices with commas, and try to get your spelling correct (that’ll make it easier for us to collate the results).

So please, check the list first to see if your faves are there, and then use the space at the bottom of the poll if necessary.

If you need more of a memory jogger, there are a load more potential favourite films for your consideration on the next page.

The results will revealed on 21 May in a special edition of SFX Collections . Make sure you get your vote in or you won’t be able to complain about it being wrong! You can vote until Wednesday 29 February .

Get voting! We’re as excited as you are to see what comes out top…
