The googly-eyed Hippopotas evolves into this sand-spewing monster of a Pokémon, a formidable Ground-type. Sand pours from the holes on Hippowdon's back, creating a devastating sandstorm wherever it goes. In addition to a number of powerful Ground attacks, Hippowdon can also learn all of the elemental fang attacks with the help of Pastoria City's Move Relearner. As its size would indicate, Hippowdon is slow but equipped with HP to spare.
