The creepiest new Pokemon from Black and White

Jellicent

Official description: “The fate of the ships and crew that wander into Jellicent’s habitat: all sunken, all lost, all vanished.”

Wow. This one doesn't even detail the Pokemon at all. It just calmly explains that every person - not Pokemon, mind you - whohas crossed into Jellicent's pathhas died. I'm not even sure how that's possible, because Jellicent isn't a legendary Pokemon, nor is it particularly large enough to cause such destruction. Guess the devs just wantedto paint a horrificmental image?

Mandibuzz

Official description: “It makes a nest out of bones it finds. It grabs weakened prey in its talons and hauls it to its nest of bones.”

Another case of the devs crafting a macabre scenario for what should be a run of the mill buzzard. No no, this one evolved in such a way it MUST make its nests out of bones instead of twigs. The description even makes sure to mention the Bone Throne TWICE in that short amount of time.

Yamask

Official description: “Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.”

So all of this leads us to Yamask, a Ghost-type that was clearly human at some point. Based off this, I have to assume it's possible that, after meeting a bloody end at the hands of these vicious Pokemon, you could become this wretched abomination, forced to carry your face for all eternity. Apparently dying isn't mean enough - now you get to BECOME one of the Pokemon that harasses the living on a daily basis!

That's our lineup - any others in Black and White creep you the hell out?

Special thanks to Alex Barrett for all the amazing artwork!
