Bahamut is one of the most impressive creatures in all of videogames, and has the bombastic entrance animations to prove it. He’s so bad-ass he sometimes decides to just shoot doods from orbit because it would take too long to fly down there and he was busy doing something else in his secret moon base before you summoned him (dick move!) He probably wants to get back to washing his moon car or flipping moon burgers or whatever Bahamuts do in their secret moon caves, so instead of pissing him off by summoning him again, just watch this.

What is a carbuncle, exactly? We’re glad you asked! According to Google Health, a carbuncle is a skin infection, usually centered on hair follicles, that may be as small as a pea or as large as a golf ball. Carbuncle’s inspiration isn’t nearly as impressive as the omnipotent deities upon which the other summons are based, still our affection for this adorable critter has gradually reddened and swelled over the years until this infectious video oozed out.
