The water effects in BioShock are sublime. It even feels like you'll get wet feet if you walk in it. And when that set-piece happens at the start, you'll find yourself blinking as you step up into the cascading water so that it doesn't get in your eyes. Up close, the splashes may be a bit flat, but it's still a great improvement on previous FPS water effects. But there's one final example that beats even this...
