The Goblin King heads up a new Hobbit image
Facing off with Gandalf and the Dwarves
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has released a new image, in which the Goblin King is involved in a stand-off against Gandalf and the Dwarves.
Dwelling in the Misty Mountains, the Goblin King looks set to be the end-of-level boss of sorts for An Unexpected Journey .
Played by Barry Humphries (best known as Dame Edna Everidge), the leader of the Goblins is brought to life through performance-capture (that would’ve required a gravity-defying fat suit).
If anything, this action shot shows off the diversity in Middle-earth creatures, from portly Dwarves to hulking beasts.
And there’s something delightfully reminiscent of the Mines of Moria in The Fellowship Of The Ring about this underground melee.
