The Iron Lady gets a weird new parliamentary poster

The Iron Lady , the Margaret Thatcher biopic starring Meryl Streep, has landed a really quite odd poster over at Yahoo! Movies .

The focal point is an image of Streep's uncannily accurate Thatcher-face, but some Photoshop work has the Houses of Parliament growing out of the side of her noggin.

It's not that the Photoshopping's incompetent, it just makes for a very bizarre poster. The two images don't really have a visual symmetry to warrant the splicing, and it feels pretty heavy-handed (yes, we know she was into politics).

That said, this oddity is hardly likely to deter the eager throngs keen to see if this will earn Streep more silverware for her collection.
