Links throughout time have been saving the world from various evil beings, that much we know. But after re-watching Wind Waker's opening, Okami's storytelling methods became a whole lot less fresh. With all that black ink flowing around and foreboding atmosphere weighing down on us, we almost forgot to notice the prophesized hero sweeping in and saving the day.
Both games also enjoy a distinct graphical style that no other games can currently tread upon. While they do look different from each other, this coat of paint still can't hide all the sameness that binds the two games together - in fact, it makes them seem even more like each other.
