Penny-pinching PlayStation players, your patience is about to pay off. Sony is holding a variety of sales on the PlayStation Store, discounting dozens of games across a variety of genres.
Depending on where you live, the sale is a bit different. Here in the US, the sale is specifically for games which received critical acclaim. Consider it a video game tie-in to the Oscars, which will be held this Sunday, February 26. You can see the whole list of games on sale here, but I've also pulled out a few highlights:
Dishonored 2 - was $59.99, now $44.99 ($40.19 with PS Plus)
Doom - was $59.99, now $35.99 ($29.99 with PS Plus)
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience - was $49.99, now $29.99 ($24.99 with PS Plus)
Titanfall 2 - was $59.99, now $29.99 ($23.99 with PS Plus)
Meanwhile in the UK, the PlayStation Store is heavily discounting EA games. Nearly all of the company's current-gen catalogue is up for grabs, and you can check out the full list here. But to help you get started, I've also pulled out a few of the best deals:
Battlefield 1 - was £54.99, now £29.99
FIFA 17 - was £54.99, now £24.99
Mirror's Edge Catalyst - was £29.99, now £9.99
Titanfall 2 - was £54.99, now £24.99
