The Top 7... more fun to watch than play
By all means, keep playing. We'll sit and watch, thanks
5. Dance Dance Revolution - Multiplatform
Don't get us wrong - DDR is definitely fun to play. But watching people humiliate themselves is infinitely more fun. To play DDR right, you have to resign yourself to the fact that you're going to look a bit silly, no matter how good you are at it. There's nothing worse than some 12 year-old kid who thinks being able to score an AA on "Paranoia" in Maniac mode actually makes him legitimately cool. It really, really doesn't.
Maybe it's a deep-seated insecurity inside us all, but there's something about seeing someone eat it hard that fills us with glee, especially if the dude takes himself too seriously. Just take this near-classic YouTube video. What makes this clip so great is that it's only after the kid gets pissed and tries to walk away that he meets his hilarious demise.

But we're not all complete assholes, and watching DDR can be fun for reasons other than ultimate humiliation. When someone comes along who really does have mad skillz, it can be downright awe-inspiring. Case in point, the video below shows a dude with one leg kicking some serious DDR ass. This guy has the "against all odds" appeal that would make the most awesome after-school special about overcoming adversity ("They said I couldn't become the North-northwestern Regional DDR Champion with only one leg. But my dreams carried me there... and beyond."). Just think about it.
