The Top 7... Unanswered Questions in Halo 3
Mystified by Master Chief's final fight? You've come to the right place
Will there be a Halo 4?
Despite the many loose ends in Halo 3, the game's creators did manage to close the trilogy's basic storyline. Master Chief was successful in stopping the war between humans and the Covenant, as well as in killing Gravemind and the Flood. So is this really it? Is the fight truly finished?
Our best guess: Yes, there will be a Halo 4.
We don't care that developer Bungie hasn't announced a sequel yet. We don't care that the company has stated Halo 3 is the end of the storyline. We don't care that the creators claim to be moving on to something new. The title may change, the plot may change or the universe may change... we don't care. Without a doubt, and for one extremely obvious reason, Master Chief will return.
Money. According to Microsoft, Halo 3 made $170 million on its first day of release. In the US alone. Like we said, there will be a Halo 4.
Besides, without another game, how will we ever get the definitive answers to all these hopelessly unanswered questions?
