The Two Hollies crash land at the SFX Weekender 3

Norman Lovett and Hattie Hayridge bring their stand up act to Prestatyn

The SFX Weekender is full of chuckles. Who couldn’t help but laugh as a member of Team SFX floundered on stage in front of 2000 people while interviewing “super famous celebrity X” (well, we couldn’t). But the Weekender just got at least twice as funny because we’re delighted to announce Red Dwarf ’s two Hollies – Norman Lovett and Hattie Hayridge will be brining their unique comedy stylings to Prestatyn, where the SFX Weekender 3 will be unleashed on the world from 3-4 February 2012.

SFX readers will know the pair best from their time as the deadpan AI with an IQ of 6000 (same as 6000 PE teachers), but in the years since Red Dwarf docked they’ve forged successful careers in the world of stand up comedy, in particular their unique Double Header tour dubbed “exquisite stand up comedy” by The Guardian . And they take comedy seriously. Lovett and Hayridge will be performing their riotous stand up acts live on stage, as well as taking part in a joint Q&A on Saturday 4 February and spending time in the signing area.

The SFX Weekender takes place at Prestatyn holiday camp in North Wales on Friday 3 February and Saturday 4 February 2012, with our pre-party on Thursday 2 February for the early birds. VIP tickets are already almost sold out but there are still other options available. Make sure you get yours before it's too late! Book now by calling 08700 11 00 34, or head to www.sfxweekender.com/tickets for more information.
