The season finale of The Vampire Diaries ' third year changed things somewhat, with Elena (Nina Dobrev) turning into a vampire. How will that affect things with her undead soul mate Stefan (Paul Wesley)? Could it be that the human/vampire dynamic was what made her so appealing?
“I read this book on men and women, and the thing that attracts men to women is they don’t understand women," ponders Wesley. "It’s like a positive and a negative… That’s a good question. Psychologically, if she’s one of his own, maybe that’s not as attractive to him. I don’t know. Usually we’re attracted to polar opposites, but I’m not sure if vampires [adhere to] human psychology!”
