WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role - 2000
Released only eight months after the original SmackDown, we find it incredibly difficult to see any visual upgrades. Call us crazy, but after months of wanking to the Unreal engine, SmackDown! 2 looks like a polygon miscarried. Entrances consist of wrestlers superimposed over their entrance videos, the Hell in a Cell match doesn’t let you leave the ring and collision detection is laughable at best. It’s difficult to believe the original PlayStation lasted four (!) more years. Still, we totally ate this up years ago.
