The Week's Best Movie Virals, Memes & Gifs
A Spider-Man/X-Men movie crossover, and Oscars and Aliens poster amazingness
It's been a big week in the world of movies. Not only did we have the glitz and glamour of the BAFTAs , but the resulting Oscar buzz has already started to throw up some amazing internet-ery.
Add your weekly dose of superhero-related movie magic, geeky photoshop jobs and some timely Valentine's Day cynicism, and you've got a whole host of entertaining memery.
PIXAR/MARVEL/DC PHOTOSHOP EXPERTISE
The really rather talented Phil Potma over at The Minion Factory was inspired by the Marvel/Disney mega-merger to start imagining a DC and Marvel movie universe crafted by the geniuses at Pixar.
The results are as exciting as they are skilled (see above for The Amazing Spider-Man and below for some of your movie favourites).
BAFTA REACTION SHOTS
The BAFTAs were a pretty balanced affair this year, all things considered. And while there weren't too many shockers, there a couple of results that took us by surprise.

And, so it seems, the celebs in attendance.
Cue a really rather joyous reaction shot from Dame Judi Dench at Skyfall 's win for Outstanding British Film.
And a really rather amusing Kodak moment (screen-captured by Sam Clements ) from director David O'Russell at the moment Jennifer Lawrence lost out to Emmanuele Riva for Leading Actress.
THE OSCARS ARE COMING
From a sincere, genuinely wowing point of view, it's impossible to fault Olly Moss' incredible poster , created in conjunction with The Academy to celebrate 85 years of the Oscars - with every gong designed to represent the Best Picture from each year.
Click on the below to see it in glorious hi-res.
From an irreverent, really rather un-PC point of view, it's impossible to fault the return of Zach Galafianakis' Between Two Ferns - Oscar Editions, which stars some of Hollywood's biggest names (Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain etc) all being ritually humiliated in fine style.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S!
Whether you celebrated it as a singleton or a smug married, the internet had some brilliant pro/anti Valentine's videos and gifs to keep you happy.
First up, Anna Kendrick tweeted a celebratory gif of unparalleled brilliance.
Secondly, Honest Trailers returned to mock the movie that's made/broken thousands of relationships all over the globe, The Notebook .
Enjoy!
BEST TRANSFORMER EVER
We'd never contemplated a Quentin Tarantino/Michael Bay crossover movie.
Now we can't think of anything else. SOMEONE MAKE THIS HAPPEN PLEASE.
THE MARVEL CROSSOVER YOU NEVER KNEW HAPPENED
There was a huge amount of speculation that The Avengers could've seen the first proper cross-franchise Marvel movie moment, with rumours of a Spidey-cameo during the climatic New York fight scene.
While that never happened, we did discover this week that Spidey actually appeared in the very first X-Men movie. Admittedly, it was part of the bloopers reel, but we take it where we can get it.
THE BEST ALIENS POSTER YOU'LL EVER SEE
You really have to see this to believe it.
A poster for Aliens - made up of hundreds of tiny images from the movie. Bootiful. Click here to see it in all its glory .
There was "no version" of Sonic 3 that wouldn't include Live and Learn according to director Jeff Fowler: "The fans would hunt me down"
Amid Oscar buzz, Zoe Saldana opens up on her new perspective on Hollywood and why she's only really proud of Avatar and Emilia Pérez: "I think I just have to accept who I am as a creative person"
