The Witness walkthrough & puzzle guide

Secret Ending

Are you ready to go into super secret territory? Remember those minecart tracks beyond the Mountain Challenge room? Return to them, and follow them downhill.

Continue following the path until you reach a pinkish cavern.

On one side is a door you can unlock to open a shortcut to the Windmill.

On the other side is a door you can unlock to open a shortcut to the Sun Temple (Desert Ruin).

Back in the cavern, open the case to find a blueprint - however, this one isn't for the Windmill video player, but the design should look familiar from the Opening Garden.

There's also a recording at the base of the pedestal.

Return to the Opening Garden and enter a solution that matches the blueprint you just found.

Step back and line up the sun with the pole which is now lit, then trace along this white path.

Boom! A secret corridor has now appeared.

Enter and you'll find yourself in a reception.

There a two recordings in here.

A recording is on the bar.

Another is on the ledge by the pool outside.

Up the stairs you'll find another recording by some loungers overlooking the Mountain Challenge.

Another recording sits on a chair in the next room.

A recording is on a table outside.

Another recording is in a suitcase to the left of the packing area.

As you move along, there will be one panel you can solve on your left.

Continue moving along the path ahead until eventually you reach an archway. Go through it to trigger a video sequence... is this reality?
