The Hateful Eight get the guns out in full trailer
If, when the end of December arrives, you're in a small minority who aren't absolutely gagging to see The Force Awakens, then the latest offering from Quentin Tarantino might be your best bet for a worthy alternative. The Hateful Eight arrives amid a swirl of offscreen controversy, seemingly matched by the frenetic pace of this latest trailer.
Set in wintry climes of Wyoming shortly after the Civil War, a band of strangers find themselves in close proximity when they all hole up at stagecoach inn to ride out a blizzard. Naturally, this being Tarantino, it's not long before his verbose characters start to realise all isn't what it seems. And then get their guns out.
The Hateful Eight stars Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Samuel L. Jackson, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Demian Bichir and Bruce Dern. It opens in 70mm at select locations throughout the US on December 25, followed by a general release in the US and UK on January 8, 2016.
