Just by way of the show's name, we know what Netflix's Iron Fist will be about - hero Danny Rand (aka Iron Fist) and his war on crime. But who's the big bad and what twists and turns will the season take over its 13-episode run? Well, episode titles brought to light thanks to a British ratings board (as discovered by Bleeding Cool) may have some clues.
Beware that anything after this picture of show star Finn Jones could be considered spoilers.
Each of the episodes sounds like a martial arts move - you know, the type you'd hear of in those old kung fu movies - or a confusing fortune cookie, so you'll need to do some speculation if you want them to provide you with any hints. Episodes 10 and 12 are currently unknown, but barring a drastic shift from the style of the other episode titles, I don't think we're going to learn anything definitive from them. That being said, here's the list:
Episode 1, Snow Gives Way
Episode 2, Shadow Hawk Takes Flight
Episode 3, Rolling Thunder Cannon Punch
Episode 4, Eight Diagram Dragon Palm
Episode 5, Under Leaf Pluck Lotus
Episode 6, Immortal Emerges From Cave
Episode 7, Felling With Tree Routes
Episode 8, The Blessing Of Many Fractures
Episode 9, The Mistress Of All Agonies
Episode 11, Lead Horse Back To Stable
Episode 13, Dragon Plays With Fire
The ratings board approved most Iron Fist episodes with a 15 rating, though Episode 11 is only rated 12 for "mild violence," and Episode 7 is rated 18 for "strong bloody violence." Sounds like Marvel's next Defender is in for it.
Starring Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, and Carrie-Anne Moss, Marvel's Iron Fist will hit Netflix on March 17, 2017.
