PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners can add a heaping dose of "the feels" to their consoles thanks to This War of Mine: The Little Ones, available now. Whether you play it to experience the nihilistic and heart-rending struggle of the average man against forces much larger than himself, or simply to prove your skill at a notoriously difficult game, all it takes is $30/£24.99 and nerves of steel to begin.
This War of Mine was one of 2014's biggest surprises, dropping players into a warzone not as an quick-healing killing machine, but an everyday civilian just trying to survive. This War of Mine: The Little Ones brings the survival-themed game of resource management and social anarchy to consoles, with new missions, characters, and - as you might've guessed from the title - children.
Your objective, however, remains the same: save your family and friends, keep them sheltered and healthy, deal with other survivors. Just remember: there are no bad guys here, only others like yourself, trying to make it through one more day. What could go wrong?
