TimeShift
Coming soon - or is it?
The devious thing is, because you’re not affected by your own time distortions, you can’t use the suit to rescue yourself. If you die, you’re dead. You can still interact with the physical world, though: if you’re reversing time and a fallen barrel is floating back up to its perch, it’s possible to jump on it and hitch a ride to reach a better sniper point.
If you've played such games as FEAR and Max Payne, you'll already understand how much fun slow-mo powers can be. You’re a superhero. You can pick your shots in a temporal tussle. But TimeShift takes things further, making for some interesting puzzles. At one point, the only way to cross a gap is to use slow-mo to run through a dangling pipe. If you temporally freeze it, it won’t tip sufficiently at the far end, yet if you run at normal speed it’ll tip too far. Cunningly devious.
