Today's Fallout Shelter update adds the Mysterious Stranger and survivor mode
It might have unveiled new companion Piper for Fallout 4 but the trailer for today's Fallout Shelter update revealed all kinds of additions to the addictive vault building sim. It's even been enough to send me back to my vault of super happy dwellers. Ok, don't judge me but I sent one out to die to take in Piper.
Features to send you scurrying back underground include the Mysterious Stranger to reward you with bottle caps, the ability to scavenge gear from Raiders and the very helpful ability to save to the cloud. No more separate iPhone and iPad vaults, Or, more likely, the loss of your vault after dropping your phone in, err, hazardous material.
Also included is an ultra hard Survivor mode that means no reviving dead Dwellers, harsher resource requirements and more hazardous threats. Fun...Right? Plus, there's now also a stats page to tell you how much time you've wast(land)ed.
