Guy Ritchie's upcoming adaptation of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. could be about to gain some serious star power in the shape of Tom Cruise.
The star is apparently in early talks to star in the film, which will translate the adventures of the '60s TV show onto the big screen.
For those who don't remember the show, it followed the exploits of Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kurakin, a pair of agents working for the United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.) to thwart the nefarious organisation, T.H.R.U.S.H.

Having previously been residing with Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney, Warner Bros now has Ritchie in line to direct the project, from a script by Scott Z. Burns. Vinnie Jones to star opposite the Cruiser? It could happen...
