Top 7... Worst celebrity voiceovers
Witness the most horrific performances from famous folk in the history of gaming
The Game: Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter (Xbox, PS2, PC)
The Star: Henry Rollins as Mace Griffin
We’ll admit it. We’re a little scared of Henry Rollins. The badass Black Flag leader could probably crush our heads with his bare hands and still have enough leftover aggression to shred up a solo that punches today’s poppy punk straight in the gut.
But the professional punker’s questionable voice acting doesn’t live up to his strong stage presence in Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter. Instead, Rollins sounds like a rock ‘n roll robot minus the rock ‘n roll part. It’s true that you can only do so much with lines like “...that’s what I do: hunt, protect, and kill.” But Rollins monotone delivery certainly doesn’t help any.
