We’re using dirty words like “button” and “trigger.” Top Spin 2 is a console conversion, and playing it with a keyboard is about as easy as playing real tennis with a keyboard. But then these games are often up to date and we haven’t watched tennis for a while, so maybe it’s in vogue to jerk around in four compass directions. The super-idiotic problem here is that when you do use a pad, the game still tells you what to do in terms of keys, leading to irritating guesswork as you try and figure out what buttons on your pad correspond to “S” or “Enter.”
