SF fame: Spearitt had a dream come true when she landed a role as a dinosaur hunter in ITV 1’s answer to Doctor Who. Admittedly, her main impact in the first season came less from any revelatory acting abilities and more from the fact she spent most episodes in little more than a t-shirt and knickers. But by season two the writers seemed to have realised that they didn’t have to rely on her arse to impress viewers, and actually gave her some scripts where she was required to act. And, amazingly, she could. For some reason, she's especially good at looking mildly irritated. Perhaps she still has all those S Club songs stuck in her head.
