Total Film line-up at Latitude 2014 announced
Films, Q&As, live performances...
Total Film is partnering with Latitude 2014 for the second year this summer. With the festival getting underway on 17 July, we're happy to announce our full line-up of film exclusives.
First up, Nicolas Cage's fantastic drama Joe will screen on Friday 18 July. Cage plays an ex-con who becomes an unlikely role model for 15-year-old Gary (Tye Sheridan, Mud ). Featuring one of Cage's best ever performances, Joe is totally unmissable.
The film exclusives continue on Saturday 19 July, with a day packed full of cinematic thrills and spills.
The day kicks off with a screening of indie coming-of-ager Palo Alto , the directorial debut of Gia Coppola (granddaughter to Francis Ford). Based on a series of short stories by James Franco, it stars Emma Roberts as a disenfranchised teen.
Then we're very excited to be hosting a Q&A with one of our favourite directors, Peter Strickland. The Brit filmmaker, whose Berberian Sound Studio is a brilliant ode to European horror, will be there to answer all your questions and talk about his latest film, Duke Of Burgundy.
