Probably because publishers think that this is what girl gamers are clamoring for. As the titular Island Princess, girls everywhere will be indoctrinated with Barbie's vacuous gender identity while designing outfits, picking flowers, and stargazing with Prince Eunuch, er, Antonio.
Based on the made-for-DVD animated release, this crapstravaganza may actually be more harmful to children thanManhunt 2.
