Crysis: Ice Level

Normally, we'd deride a game for showing something as clichéd as an "ice level," but Crysis is just too damn pretty for us to give it much thought. Is Crysis' snow in the tropics yet another unforeseen consequence of global warming, or do the alien invasion forces just want to have plenty of ice on hand for their post-victory margaritas? If you look closely you can see various graphical effects being turned off and on throughout the demo - when you get the final game, you're clearly going to need a new graphics card no matter how recently you've upgraded.
