The stunning gameplay demo from E3 07showed the world that Infinity Ward hadn't just been killing time since CoD2. The tense drama of this sniper mission proved conclusively that the franchise needn't stay stuck in WWII, but could spread its wings and carry us soaring away on an updraft of joy. And after our private demo, we were so impressed we counted it among the best of show.
