It doesn't look good for our brave boys as they get disintegrated by powerful death-rays, not unlike the ones emitted from the handheld bubble-gunsin Mars Attack. Speaking of which,since the entire universe is at stake here,maybe those big-brained skeletons could becomethe most unlikely of allies? Just a though, Sega.
