A history of the robots in disguise

Ironhide
A veteran Autobot warrior and - in the cartoon - Optimus Prime's bodyguard. In the new story he's presented as Prime's oldest friend and the Autobots' weapons specialist, transforming into the heavy duty GMC Topkick C4500 pick-up truck.

Jazz
Jazz is the coolest and most stylish of the Autobots. His vehicle mode in the original cartoons was a sleek Porsche, and he had a set of reflective shades built into his robot features. He appears in the new Transformers as a Pontiac Solstice.
