Transistor Test Challenge Room guide
Stability Test
There are a total of 3 stability tests and to pass, all you have to do is survive until the timer runs out. The loadouts are preset for each of the tests, guiding your playstyle and the enemy types will vary in number and difficulty throughout the 3 stages.
The timer is set at 90 seconds and while that may not sound like a lot, when you’re being stalked by a Young Lady and have a pack of demented Fetch puppies snapping at your heels, it can seem like an eternity.
A good strategy early on is to just run away. There’s no shame in it and don’t listen to anyone that would tell you otherwise! Just stay on the opposite side of the map to whatever is chasing you. It doesn’t matter if the process is still intact when the timer reaches zero. As long as Red is alive, you’ll pass.
Eventually you’ll have to engage the process because frankly, 90 seconds is a long time to try to outrun someone when you’re in the same room. Embrace being a coward and work it into your strategy. Fire off a few attacks to knock back enemies and then head to a nice isolated corner to let your Turn gauge recharge. You may have to pull off some fancy footwork to evade the faster enemies during the cooldown period but by the time most of them catch up, you should be ready to initiate your turn and repeat.
You can of course choose to face them head on, but why risk getting killed and wasting an entire minute of your life to have to retry again? A whole minute for crying out loud. You can’t get that time back.
Tests like these exist to prove that the laws of time and space don’t exist when it comes to video games. 90 wasted seconds is enough to cause the most tranquil of disposition to enter a mottled, foam-flecked rage.
