Tucker And Dale Versus Evil review

A hillbilly Bill and Ted, best buds Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) are as stupid as they look. Luckily, the same can’t be said of Eli Craig’s horror-comedy of errors.

A shaky start sees our holidaying heroes and a group of students unwittingly descend on the same woods; but Craig sets off a devilishly contrived series of mishaps resulting in gore and guffaws (one word: woodchipper; two words: “College kids!”).

Genre staples and stereotypes are slain only for convention to wreak revenge; but it’d sure be sweet to follow the loveable lugs on another misadventure.
