Stargate veteran Don S Davis passes away
An announcement by Gate World reports that the actor best known for his roles as Major General George Hammond on Stargate SG-1, Scully’s father on The X-Files and Major Garland Briggs in Twin Peaks died on 29 June at the age of 65. His final performance as Major General Hammond will be seen in the new SG-1 movie Continuum.

Great Scott! Nike makes McFly’s trainers
Marty McFly’s Nike 2015 sneakers from Back to the Future II are now a reality. Nike has manufactured a pair of trainers identical to those seen in the film, but sadly this futuristic footwear comes minus an automatic lacing mechanism. Shame. Check them out here .
