Two Worlds II getting pirate themed expansion
TopWare and Reality Pump tease Pirates of the Flying Fortress add-on
Two Worlds II is about to become rated arr! Sorry, I love that joke. In all seriousness (or as much seriousness as a game that could be written as '2 Worlds 2' is entitled to), TopWare Interactive and Reality Pump Studios are releasing a swash buckling expansion to the fantasy RPG entitled Pirates of the Flying Fortress.
The add-on will take players to a “gloomy pirate world” replete with new enemies, weapons, horse breeds and a smattering of animated cut-scenes to tie it all together. The expansion will also introduce a handful of new multiplayer maps.
Despite receiving a large 'meh' from critics, Two Worlds II has moved over 2.5 million copies worldwide, creating a sizeable audience for this expansion. For a brief (and noisy) preview of how the devs plan to keep this momentum going, check out the newly launched website.
Pirates of the Flying Fortress lands this September for PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360.
