It seems Time Lords will do anything for charity. The BBC has just confirmed a long-standing rumour that this year’s Children in Need fundraiser will feature not one but two Doctors, as early ‘80s TARDIS resident Peter Davison steps out with David Tennant. The special scene, entitled “Time Crash”, was written by regular Who scribe Steven Moffat, and will air on BBC1 on Friday 16 November.
"It is an honour for me to be able to make the connection between the Fifth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor," Davison told the BBC’s Doctor Who website . "However, now is not the time for sound-bites. I can feel the hand of history on my shoulder, even if I can't do the buttons up!"
You can see also see a picture of the two Whos on the BBC site, along with some downloadable wallpaper for your PC. There’s another picture of this year’s most high profile reunion of Doctors over at The Sun .
Thanks to Outpost Gallifrey for the heads up.
