UK Chart: Black Ops II knocked off top spot
Far Cry 3 topples Call of Duty
On its fifth week since launch, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 enjoys a first stint at number one in the UK chart compiled by Chart Track, replacing Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which drops to number 3 after hogging the top slot for six consecutive weeks.
Overall there’s not much movement, with not a single new entry in the entire top 40 and the highest re-entry being Bethesda’s Doom 3: BFG Edition which charts at number 30. Also notable is the continued chart absence of Wii U exclusive titles like New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land, and ZombiU.
Here’s the Top 20 UK software chart in full:
1. Far Cry 3
2. FIFA 13
3. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
4. Hitman Absolution
