If you're looking for the best Meta Quest deals and bundles, the summer months could get interesting. We've been hearing all sorts of rumors that the Quest 2 will be replaced by an upcoming Quest 3 Lite. This model is said to be more affordable than the regular Quest 3, so it could provide an interesting route into VR for those who want the latest features on a budget. We can't confirm any of these rumors just yet, but the Quest 2 is seemingly sold out everywhere right now.

But is the new Quest 3 worth it? We certainly consider it a candidate for the best VR headset. Enthusiasts will likely be looking to upgrade due to the improved lenses and mixed-reality features, which is understandable. The Quest 3 definitely feels like an upgrade over the 2, but not massively. We'd still recommend the Quest 2 (if you can find stock of it) to players who haven't experienced a lot of VR games before.

For true deal hunters, the best Meta Quest accessories are what you should be on the lookout for. Of course, Meta Quest 3 deals and bundles are only really going to emerge as we get further into its lifespan. Here are the best deals on both headsets we've found recently.

Meta Quest 3 | £479.99 £459 at Amazon
Save £20 - It's not a huge saving, but seeing the Quest 3 discounted even a little bit is a nice bonus post-Prime Day. Sadly, you won't get Asgard's Wrath 2 lumped in anymore, but the discount should appease that. Still, £20 as a random sale is a lovely chance to grab a versatile piece of tech.

Where to find Meta Quest 2 bundles

US

UK:

Is Meta Quest worth buying?

The Quest headsets are definitely worth buying, especially if you keep your eyes peeled for Meta Quest 3 deals and bundles. The Quest 2 is still a pretty excellent way to introduce yourself to VR gaming. While its specs and features are great, and price low, it has an amazing library of games for you to play too. The Quest 3 is probably the best pound-for-pound standalone VR headset you can buy right now - especially since Apple Vision Pro is so expensive.

What is the lowest price for Meta Quest 2?

The lowest price we've seen the Meta Quest 2 drop to in the US is $199 at Amazon in the US. We've seen some confusing price fluctuations in the past year or so, but for the most part, you can find it at $240-$250 at the time of writing. In the UK, the 128GB model of the Meta Quest 2 can be found for £199 if you're really lucky. Renewed versions can be really affordable too, but for a still very usable headset, these prices are brilliant to see. For the most part, you'll see it listed at £249 at the moment.

Is Meta Quest+ worth it?

Meta Quest+ is the new subscription service for the Quest headsets, and it works very similarly to the likes of PlayStation Plus. Each month you're a paying subscriber, you'll get free games to play that will be added to your library. During its launch window, the Meta Quest 3 512GB model could frequently be found with Meta Quest vouchers, and a 6-month subscription to Meta Quest+. If you don't already own many Meta Quest games, then a subscription could certainly be worth the money you pay for it.

When will Meta Quest 3 deals be available?

The biggest Meta Quest 3 deals and bundles will arrive during big sales events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Prime Day. As the device is still fairly new, we probably won't see big price cuts and bundles emerge for a while. That said, we did see some sporadic Quest 3 deals in the UK in early 2024. Whether that was to capitalize on UK buyers who couldn't make the most of Apple Vision Pro's launch or was just a random act of kindness, we'll never know.

Nonetheless, we'd expect the best Meta Quest 3 deals to arrive later in 2024, once the headset surpasses a whole year on the market.

Just glancing at the list of best VR games you can experience right now is enough to tempt anyone to invest in a new headset. Of course, it's worth bearing in mind you'll need a decent PC setup to get the most out of your time in VR.

There are currently some fantastic offers around in our best gaming PC and best gaming laptop guides. If you're just after an audio upgrade, then our best gaming headset guide is what you need.

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension. Location: UK Remote
