Donate to indie game ORION: Prelude's development, get fancy swag

Feeling generous? Does Tuesday do that to you? Well, you’re in luck, Mr. Generous Tuesday, because we found something you can support - the development of upcoming PSN/XBLA/PC first-person shooterORION: Prelude. And you mightget some nice booty for your big heartedness.

Above: Jetpacks and dinosaurs: two great tastes that taste great together

DeveloperSpiral Game Studiosopened upa Kickstarter pageto help fund the upcoming downloadable blast fest. Evidently, the game involves jet packs and dinosaurs as well as, well, blasting things (which kind of sweetens the deal). Donations will help “lock and secure key developers” and ensure a polished product sooner than later, as well as fund an upcoming multiplayer beta test.

Donors of certain dollar amounts will receive thank you gifts ranging from t-shirts to signed concept art. If you’re feeling extra philanthropic, a $1,000 donation will net you an achievement named after you. Of course, most actual names would make for kind of lame cheevos, so it’s totally cool to legally rename yourself “David Lo Pan” for this occasion.

Check out a quick teaser for it below:
