Comedy sequel Ted 2 is busy adding some extra stardust to its ensemble, with news breaking that Liam Neeson will play some part in the new film.
The news was revealed by director Seth MacFarlane, who took to Twitter to announce Neeson’s involvement, having previously worked with the star on A Million Ways To Die In The West .
“Yesterday Liam Neeson, today Morgan Freeman,” reads the social media update. “Not a bad week for #Ted2.”
We know that Freeman will be playing a civil rights lawyer who comes to the rescue when Ted finds himself in legal difficulties, although nothing has been confirmed regarding Neeson’s role as yet.
Directed by MacFarlane, who will once again supply Ted’s voice, and co-starring Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried, Ted 2 will open in the UK on 10 July 2015.
