Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - 2013 release, demo and more details revealed with new trailer
Raiden's sword gets put to good use in new video
As part of its Pre-E3 press conference, Konami gave players around the world their first real taste of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (God, we love that silly name) since last December. Sadly, for as awesome as the swordplay looks in this new trailer that includes the return of watermelon slicing, there's unfortunate news too. Hint: Revengeance won't be out in 2012.
Yes, like seemingly half of the games we thought were coming out this fall, Revengeance is now coming out in the very crowded "Early 2013" time frame alongside games like Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite. On the plus side, Konami will at least be releasing a small chunk of the game early, as the Revengeance demo will be included with this fall's Zone of the Enders HD collection. If you don't feel like picking it up, Konami mentions that the demo will be available later on its own.
At the very least Revengeance will be playable from the show floor at E3, so we'll give you our feelings on the game as soon as we can. In the meantime, why not read our list of the 20 biggest games still (supposedly) coming out in 2012 (ignore the Revengeance slide).
