Today's Ubisoft Forward event revealed a brand new IP, new footage from an exciting next-gen RPG, a remake of a classic platformer, and loads more. For fans of Ubisoft games, it's certainly a lot to process. Immortals Fenyx Rising release date and gameplay footage
Immortals Fenyx Rising, formerly Gods & Monsters, is releasing on December 3, Ubisoft announced. The open-world fantasy RPG will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC, so no one's left out of the legend-chasing, puzzle-solving fun.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake
After it was leaked late last month, Ubisoft gave its upcoming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake the full reveal it deserves. The original game is one of its era's most memorable platformers, and it's been far too long since the IP was a part of the conversation. Watch Dogs Legion: Stormzy special mission and the return of Aiden Pearce
Ubisoft has revealed that Watch Dogs Legion will have a special mission featuring the rapper Stormzy, who stepped in to perform a new song called Rainfall and perform mo-cap for his scenes. The footage will be part of a music video for the new song and will also be used in-game. Today's event also dropped the news that OG protagonist Aiden Pearce is returning in Watch Dogs Legion in a post-launch expansion.
A Game of Space
During today's event, Ubisoft announced A Game of Space, a brand new VR-exclusive interstellar survival game coming to Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Valve Index headsets on October 28. Check out the reveal trailer for the intriguing VR title above.
Riders Republic
Ubisoft Annecy, the studio known for 2016's Steep, has announced Riders Republic, a new extreme sports game with bikes, skis, snowboards, and… jetpacks? 50 players can race against each other in one match, and honestly, it looks like a killer time. Riders Republic launches February 25, 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is back for its 10th birthday
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is celebrating its 10th birthday with a fresh re-release launching on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC later this year, Holiday 2020. The Complete Edition of the arcade beat 'em up includes the base game and DLC for Knives Chau and Wallace Wells.
