Calling it, Uncharted 4's lemur cuddles are the new Last of Us giraffe moment
Spoiler alert if you still haven't played The Last of Us, but watching a herd of giraffes wander through downtown Salt Lake City is easily one of the best moments in the game: the underlying theme of nature reclaiming the world after the fall of mankind instantly personified, or animalified, or whatever. But that new Uncharted 4 making-of video reveals that Naughty Dog is already planning to top that beautiful moment in its next game.
How could the studio possibly hope to manage that, you might ask? Lemur cuddles.
"One thing that we really learned from The Last of Us, and experimented with and got really good results from, is allowing the player to just poke around in an intriguing environment," lead game designer Anthony Newman says in the video - which apparently includes giving a lemur some love. You can experience this close encounter of the furred kind for yourself when Uncharted 4 is released on May 10.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
