Nolan North's fear for Uncharted 4? Ending up like Indiana Jones 4
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception was a satisfying conclusion to the PS3 Uncharted trilogy, with mysteries solved, dangers buried, and relationships rekindled. Yet here comes Uncharted 4: A Thief's End with an older Drake, a new family member, and one last job. Nolan North, performance capture actor for Nathan Drake, hopes it doesn't end up feeling like the fourth chapter to that other two-fisted treasure-hunting series.
"People always ask me, 'Is this the last one, [or will there] be another one?,'" North told PlayStation Access at Paris Games Week. "You just don't want that [Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the] Crystal Skull. You don't want that, where people go '...yeah.' You want to go out on the high. I personally think we did."
The fourth Indiana Jones film is widely considered the weakest in the franchise, despite reuniting much of the original trilogy's cast and crew decades later. Even without the secret aliens plotline and a starring role for Shia LaBeouf (that we know of!), North said it's an "incredible amount of pressure" to deliver a proper conclusion for fans who have been with the series for nearly ten years.
"Naughty Dog always does their part, I just hope I did enough of my part."

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
